If you pass by our building and look up, you will see that intensive work is underway on the roof to install several hundred photovoltaic panels.

These state-of-the-art photovoltaic panels are a part of a project funded through financing obtained by the Foundation of International Education (the school’s governing body) from the EEA Funds under the “Sustainable Development, Energy Efficiency, and Renewable Energy Sources” Program (more information about project can be found at the link).

This is a significant step towards a “greener future” for our school and the entire community of students, staff, and parents. The benefits of this investment are enormous. Firstly, we will be able to reduce our electricity consumption from conventional sources, leading to lower electricity bills. Secondly, our school will become more energy independent and environmentally friendly, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

By installing photovoltaic panels on the roof of our school, we are learning how to take care of our planet while also saving on energy costs. This is our contribution to a better future for our students and the natural environment.

Soon, we will also be installing modern heat pumps responsible for producing hot water for our building.

We will keep you regularly updated on the project’s progress and organize educational events to help you learn more about this fascinating technology.
