Our high school students took part in the first stage of the Linguistic Mathematics Olympiad – a prestigious nationwide academic competition organized since the 2004/2005 school year by the Wrocław Mathematicians’ Foundation and the University of Wrocław.

This unique contest combines linguistics, logic, and mathematics, challenging participants to demonstrate not only knowledge but also creativity and unconventional thinking. Finalists of the Olympiad receive direct admission to the University of Wrocław in the fields of Informatics and Mathematics, while laureates gain access to individual interdisciplinary studies in Informatics and Mathematics, as well as additional privileges at the Jagiellonian University and the University of Warsaw.

The very best participants also have the opportunity to qualify for the International Linguistics Olympiad – one of the 15 most prestigious science olympiads in the world for high school students.

We’re keeping our fingers crossed for our representatives and wishing them the best of luck!
