On June 12–13, representatives of our school took part in the nationwide conference “Youth for Schools – Student Self-Governance in Practice”, which took place in Warsaw. The event marked the conclusion of the “School of Democracy” project run by the Center for Citizenship Education.

The first day of the conference featured representatives from the U.S. Embassy and the Ministry of Justice. It provided an opportunity to discuss the role of young people in shaping the reality of school life and how to effectively support them in taking action within their school communities.

On the second day, we participated in workshops for students and teachers, full of inspiration, practical tools, and ideas ready to be implemented in our daily school practice.

These were two intense days of dialogue, engagement, and reflection on how to build a school rooted in shared decision-making and active student citizenship.
