The next edition of Career Days in the history of our school has just come to an end. It was two intensive days filled with meetings, discussions, and reflection on our students’ educational and professional futures.
The event began with a joint lecture for our high school students and grade 8 students of the ATUT Bilingual Primary School, led by Mr Paweł Przedpełski, a career advisor. During the session, students were introduced to the career decision-making process based on prior analysis of their needs, competencies, and predispositions, supported by the use of modern tools, including artificial intelligence.
Another key element of the programme was a series of workshops using the LUMINA model – a career aptitude assessment based on working with cards and statements with which participants identify. This valuable tool helps students better understand their strengths, potential, and individual working styles.
This solid foundation became the starting point for further meetings with invited guests representing a wide range of industries and career paths. Their stories, experiences, and insights showed students that there is no single universal path to professional development, and that conscious, well-informed choices can lead to many fulfilling directions.
We would like to sincerely thank all speakers and facilitators for their commitment, openness, and inspiring contributions. Career Days 2026 were an important and valuable experience for the entire MLO community.
