Travel broadens the mind – especially when it involves languages and world cuisines. Students from Grade II and IIIA Spanish and German groups took us on a unique culinary and linguistic journey that stimulated all the senses.
As part of this educational project, they prepared colourful stands filled with delicious treats and fascinating facts about the culinary cultures of various countries – not only Spanish- or German-speaking ones. With aromatic dishes, creative decorations, and enthusiastic presentations, our school was transformed into a global culinary map for a day.
The event was visited by first-grade students, who explored each stand, listened to presentations from their older peers, and then completed quiz cards, testing their observation skills and newly acquired knowledge.
We would like to sincerely thank all the students for their great enthusiasm and creativity, and the Spanish and German language teachers for their inspiration, guidance, and attention to every detail.
It was a day full of flavours, languages, and expanding horizons – the kind of experience that stays with you.
